seriously? Watchmen was pretty fucking mediocre. what the hell. Sucker Punch looks awesome but this guy is a bad choice for Superman.
I’m on the fence on this one. With Watchmen he pretty much put the book on screen… though not very well. With Supes he has TONS of source material to go from, as well as Christopher Nolan as a mentor. This will either be amazing or really really mediocre.
CHOPPAH is pleased with this announcement. There is sure to be TOTAL FUCKING DESTRUCTION.
Who should he cast as the leads, fellas?

There’s no better director, save for perhaps Alex Proyas, than Snyder for this. In fact, if Nolan were smart, he’d go hands off and just let Zack do his thing. He can take credit for it later, because I KNOW the product will be fucking fantastic.

Good post Vader. I agree. I think that Snyder, when given some fresh material, will do well. I like the way the guy works, and even though he hasn’t done a lot of original material, he certainly shows he has a good eye.
And I had such hopes for Singer a while back. Guess he burned out or something. Who knows? Look forward to following this new Superman.
