The man with the two biggest movies in Hollywood history is thinking of taking on the material that created one of the BIGGEST BOMBS in Hollywood history, according to DEADLINE.COM:

File this one under Tantalizingly Possible. James Cameron and Sony Pictures Entertainment are exploring the possibility that he will direct Angelina Jolie in Cleopatra, an SPE adaptation of the Stacy Schiff book Cleopatra: A Life. Jolie is attached and Brian Helgeland is writing the script. Scott Rudin, who acquired the book, is producer. I’m told that they are exploring this seriously, but it is not a certainty that it will happen.

    First!! Finally.

As talented as Cameron is, I really wish he’d get back to making some, you know, GOOD movies. What was his last one? True Lies?

id only see a jolie movie if its hackers 2, has a fully naked rosario dawson, and or if its sin city 2 (come on RR!)… and true lies was great (the scene with him and paxton driving is a fav since its the street i take to go into dc…its not many non georgetown or monument movie scenes)

THE CHOPPAH will never forget the day he and the old man went to see THE TERMINATOR–completely spoiler free. Neither of us had read anything about it; neither of us had even seen a fucking trailer. Man, that was a mindfuck–didn’t even know for sure Arnie was the bad guy for a while as Cameron set it up to seem like Reese might be the bad guy in the initial setup. Man, that may have been the best, pure action theater experience of my life. And–other than HALLOWEEN–it was the first time I had been privy to the “it’s over / no it’s not fucking over” screenplay device.
